Care Instructions
925 Sterling Silver
925 sterling silver is a durable alloy — 92.5% pure silver — ethically sourced and built to last. It may oxidize naturally with air, moisture, and skin contact — this is the metal behaving as it should, not damage.
- Remove before swimming, bathing, or washing hands
- Store in a closed pouch away from light
- Clean with a soft cloth or mild soap and warm water — dry thoroughly
- Avoid silver dips, ultrasonic cleaners, and anything abrasive
Gold Vermeil
Vermeil is a thick durable layer of gold (minimum 2.5 microns) over sterling silver. The gold may wear gradually over time, particularly where the piece contacts skin. This is the nature of the material.
- Remove before water, perfume, and lotions — put jewelry on last
- Wipe down after wearing with a dry soft cloth
- Store pieces separately to avoid scratching
- Do not use silver polishing cloths — they are abrasive enough to damage the gold layer
