Egyptian Stars Necklace

Stars covered the ceilings of Egyptian temples and sacred spaces, forming a painted cosmos above. They belonged to Nut — the sky goddess depicted arched over the earth, her body scattered with stars, swallowing the sun each evening and returning it each morning. For ancient Egyptians, the night sky was not empty. It was a woman, holding everything in place.

This pendant carries that ancient star pattern in a round form — the stars cut through the metal so light passes between them. Available in sterling silver. A small piece of the Egyptian night sky. Worn in the ordinary day.
